When you go to google.com, the page opens, appropriately, with the cursor blinking away in the search field, ready for you to start typing. You don't need to reach for your mouse, move the cursor to the text box, click, and put you fingers back on the keyboard before you can begin your search. So how come my bank and my several credit card companies and my electric company and my ISP and Blogger and other sites too numerous to list do not put the cursor in the user-id field when I load their pages?
