A lot of driving, no? I was surprised to learn that the total mileage, 1335, is actually 25 percent less than the 1770 we drove a couple years ago (home - Corning, NY – Toronto – Montreal – Quebec - Albany – home).

We found Eric's guest house and MacLaren's apartment on airbnb.com, which looks like a good place to find accomodations that don't require our taking out a second mortgage. This will be our first experience with the service; we'll let you know how it turns out.
