Software

CamStudio is a terrific little program that allows you to record whats going on on your screen and even record a "voice over" in the process.

fireFTP is a fabulous add-on to Firefox. It lets you FTP through Firefox and edit files on the remote site.

A couple days ago I was trying to find a restaurant halfway between us and a couple friends. I found a really neat web site that could do that for me. Not only find the midpoint, but also show the restaurants (and bars and coffee shops and points of interest) at that location. And now I can't find it again. Rats.

A friend is thinking of starting a blog or a web site and I think she'll ask me for advice. (Poor woman.) Anyway, I'm sure she'll want to upload pictures, so I installed ZenPhoto on Nevca's web site to see how it works. It doesn't. At least not for me.
