Small motors a specialty

While we were on our trip, Katka tried to cut the grass but the mower kept dying on her.

I replaced the spark plug and cleaned the air filter, but the mower continued to die after about 2 minutes. Then I noticed that the wrong gas cap was on the gas tank. (I haven't figured out how that happened or where it might have come from.) I loosened the cap a turn or two and voila! -- no more problem. Except now gasoline would slosh out onto the red hot motor, which is probably not a real safe thing to have happen. Before removing the cap and drilling a couple little air holes in it, I went to the neighborhood lawnmower repair shop to investigate the cost of buying a new cap. $5. Problem solved.
