Ghandi

Here's a quotation I heard today, attributed to the great man. I assume it's apocryphal but I don't care:
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you. Then you win.
In the process of looking up the exact wording, I came across Wikiquote, which I guess is kind of a Bartlett's for the digital community.

Anyway, here are a few more Ghandi quotations:
  • Nonviolence is the first article of my faith. It is also the last article of my creed.
  • The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.
  • If there ever could be a justifiable war in the name of and for humanity, a war against Germany, to prevent the wanton persecution of a whole race, would be completely justified. But I do not believe in any war.
  • I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.
