Restaurants

I was poking around on the web just now, looking for some tips about restaurants in Surfside Beach, and I came across a site (http://www.restaurant.com/) that sells discount certificates for restaurants -- typically, a $25 certificate costs $10. I assume it's legitimate, but I don't think I'll buy any for our vacation; generally, I like to see at least what a restaurant looks like before I commit myself to eating there. One of these days, however, I may buy a certificate for someplace around home -- like maybe That's Amore, or Cafe Oggi, or Minerva -- and I'll report on how it goes.

(I'm determined to try to post something here pretty regularly, but, as this entry suggests, sometimes it's pretty hard to find material.)
