W.C. Wlliams
Keillor reminded us that yesterday was William Carlos Williams's birthday, which prompted me to reread two of the only three of Wlliams's poems I can remember -- faintly. I enjoyed "By the road to the contagious hospital" and thought (again) how strange it is that "This is just to say" has become so famous. (The third poem, which I didn't try to find, says something about "a red wheelbarrow.")
