Dr. Guerin's Public Finance exam

Back in the day, final exams were spaced out over a period of about two weeks. We'd have an exam -- or, rarely, two -- one day and then have a couple days to prepare before taking the next one. I once spent those couple days cramming like mad for . . . , I don't know, maybe it was Business Cycles. But when I walked into the classroom to take the test, Mr. Leonard wasn't at the front of the room. Dr. Geurin was there. I'd prepared for the wrong test! Instead of Business Cycles, the exam was in Public Finance, by far the toughest economics course that year. Panic!
