Hard to please

What's with this? At my wonderful wife's behest, I added Slumdog Millionaire to our Netflix Queue. Netflix responded by listing 10 movies that are "most like" Slumdog, and with each it showed two ratings: "Our best guess for Dan" and "Member average." The average of the "best guess for Dan" was 2.8 stars; the average of "member average" was 3.8 stars. I not really that much different from everybody else, am I?
