Tickets!

We "bought" tickets (i.e., cashed in half of our frequent flyer miles) for a trip to Europe this afternoon! We leave from Dulles Sunday evening, April 6, land in Madrid the next morning, and arrive in Paris in time for lunch on April 7.

Returning, we leave Rome on May 4 -- that makes 4 whole weeks, count 'em -- at 8 in the morning, transfer again in Madrid, and arrive back at Dulles in time for supper.

Now all we have to do is figure out

• what to do with all that time, and
• how in the world we're going to pay for it.
