Things change fast around here.
We're no longer planning to leave Sunday April 6; now we leave Saturday April 5 and spend 5 nights in Paris. My new friend Clawed has a less expensive apartment right next door to the one I spoke to him about yesterday. And he offered us Sunday free if we could get there a day early. Changing plane reservations was a snap (and didn't cost a penny) , so now we're set for our first three stops in Europe: Paris, Venice, and Florence (Fiesole).

It's exhausting just trying to keep up with the developments as they happen. You are going to need this vacation just to recover from all the work in making it happen.
