Ars Poetica

Today's poem on The Writer's Almanac is the wonderful "As kingfishers catch fire, dragonflies draw flame," which I can still remember puzzling over as a freshman in college. Keillor's reading was uninspired, it seemed to me, so I turned to Google and quickly found a different -- and I think somewhat better -- recording here. The real treat, however, was to see how many other things are available at LibriVox.

LibriVox volunteers record chapters of books in the public domain and release the audio files back onto the net. Our goal is to make all public domain books available as free audio books. We are a totally volunteer, open source, free content, public domain project.
